Application for Flemingsberg Science Award 2022 opens

As a student, worker or resident in Flemingsberg you can now compete with your business idea. In a sub-competition to the national business plan competition Venture Cup, Flemingsberg Science rewards ideas that contribute to a better world.

In addition to the prize money of SEK 5.000, the winner also gets a rent-free space for three months in Flemingsbergs Sciences’ innovation environment.

Flemingsberg Science works for the development of the knowledge-based ecosystem in Flemingsberg, where an important component is more and growing companies. To draw attention to and stimulate competitors from Flemingsberg, Flemingsberg Science has chosen to create a business plan competition in collaboration with the Venture Cup: the Flemingsberg Science Award. By collaborating with Venture Cup, we believe that we can get many students, workers and residents in Flemingsberg to take the step and develop their business concept – which may change the world.

Flemingsberg Science Foundation welcomes Ellen Mäkipiha as the new Communications Officer

In December last year, the Flemingsberg Science Foundation was granted funding from the European Regional Development Fund to establish itself as a key player in Life Science with the launch of the project “Cluster Engine Life Science Flemingsberg.” Meet Ellen Mäkipiha, the foundation’s new rising star, who will be working on the development of the Life Science cluster in Flemingsberg.
