We open doors to creativity and culture

We have created a hub where we build upon Flemingsberg’s strengths in education, research, and creativity. The co-working environment, Innovation Station, was initiated by us at the Flemingsberg Science Foundation in collaboration with Södertörn University and SH Innovation.

Flemingsberg currently hosts a robust and established Life Science cluster. With KI and the Karolinska Institutet at its core, a multitude of Life Science companies has emerged over time. Additionally, A Working Lab on the Flemingsberg Campus provides flexible lab spaces for companies in the Life Science sector.

The campus also houses Södertörn University, SMI, and Idun Lovén—significant creative and humanities-focused institutions that are integral to the campus. Recognizing the need to open doors to creativity and culture, as well as facilitate the establishment of small businesses and startups in the creative industries, we conceived the idea for our new co-working environment, Innovation Station. This initiative is built upon the knowledge and creativity present in Flemingsberg, both from students and businesses.

The goal of establishing a co-working environment on the Flemingsberg Campus is to facilitate interactions among entrepreneurs, innovators, and community developers. In addition to offering 40 workspaces, Innovation Station provides a venue for meetings, events, workshops, and various social activities. The space includes separate offices and workspaces in an open-office layout.
