TAKE YOUR IDEA TO THE NEXT LEVEL: Flemingsberg Science Award IDEA 2024 is now open for registration

It’s finally time for the annual competition Flemingsberg Science Award IDEA. The goal is to attract innovators from Flemingsberg, helping them take the step towards realizing their visions while also participating in shaping the businesses of the future. Do you have an idea that can contribute to a better world? Then you should take part in the Flemingsberg Science Award competition.

We face several major societal challenges such as climate change, demographic change, mental illness and growing inequality. To solve these challenges, new innovative solutions and approaches will be needed – new ways of thinking, collaborating and acting.

“We support ideas from Flemingsberg, which is why we offer a special prize with a smaller cash award. However, we also want ideas to be developed in Flemingsberg, so the prize includes the opportunity to access our creative innovation hub, Innovation Station Flemingsberg, for one month,” says Flemingsberg Science CEO Johnny Högberg.

Flemingsberg Science Award IDEA is a sub-competition of the national business plan competition Venture Cup, made for students, professionals, and people living in Flemingsberg. By participating in the competition, you have the opportunity to test your business idea with experienced experts. This could be the first step in turning your vision into reality and shaping the businesses of the future. The winner will receive a prize of 5000 SEK and access to the Coworking environment, Innovation Station Flemingsberg, at Campus Flemingsberg for one month. The competition runs until November 11th.

South Korean Game Investors Visited Press Start Game Hub in Flemingsberg

A delegation of investors from some of South Korea’s leading game companies visited Press Start Game Hub in Flemingsberg yesterday, a growing hub for game innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe. A national resource for tomorrow’s treatments – Karolinska ATMP Center is now inaugurated

With a clear message of hope for the future and a powerful spirit of collaboration, the Karolinska ATMP Center in Flemingsberg was inaugurated at the end of August. The center is a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet and Karolinska University Hospital and will serve as a national resource for the production of advanced therapies (ATMPs), where research, clinical trials, and treatments work seamlessly together to deliver groundbreaking therapies to patients.
