Flemingsberg Science Foundation 2024 – New Opportunities Through Partnerships

As the year comes to an end, it is time to reflect and summarize our progress. We are now concluding year three of our four-year strategic period. Are we moving in the right direction to ensure that Flemingsberg becomes the obvious choice for establishments in southern Stockholm, offering a world-class innovation environment?

During 2024, several critical foundations for our ambitions have been established. Through our associated partnership, we have opened up opportunities for external actors to join the foundation’s work. We are thrilled that Fabege, Hemsö, and Huge have joined us. This partnership has also enabled us to launch an operational establishment office, providing the resources to make a real difference. Through this shared platform, various stakeholders can collectively communicate Flemingsberg’s opportunities. Another significant partnership initiated in 2024 is Trusted Partners. The goal here is to create optimal conditions for innovation and entrepreneurship within ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, including cell and gene therapies) in Flemingsberg. Our partners add value to our business community through knowledge seminars, workshops, and events. A big thank you to Key2Compliance, AWA, and Miltenyi Biotec Nordics for their contributions throughout 2024!

At the same time, infrastructure at Campus Flemingsberg has been further strengthened in 2024. The Innovation Stationinnovation environment has developed into a regular meeting hub for municipalities, companies, and other organizations, where innovation-supporting activities are now continuously conducted. In addition, Novum Labs opened this year, providing an environment where research-driven companies can grow. By 2025, Novum will feature the Stockholm region’s most exciting mix of life science activities!

Finally, we can celebrate an early Christmas gift. It has just been confirmed that our regional fund application for Cluster Engine Life Science Flemingsberg has been approved. See the press release here!

We are definitely moving in the right direction!

Merry Christmas!
