Welcome to The Park Novum!

At The Park Novum, you’re met with spacious offices, creative spaces, and a sweeping view over a growing Flemingsberg. Here, entrepreneurs, innovators, and researchers can find a home that not only provides a modern workplace, but also the opportunity to grow together.

In early November, The Park inaugurated its new coworking space in Novum Forskningspark. A valuable addition for those looking to establish and become part of a dynamic life science cluster. Here, flexible memberships, work environments designed to inspire both creativity and focus, and services that make everyday life easier are offered – and also the opportunity to join a community with a strong focus on collaboration.

Multiple locations – one community

The Park started 25 years ago, somewhat by chance. When Mikael Ahlström, Founder & CEO, was searching for a space for his own companies, he came across one that was slightly too large and a bit too expensive. He decided to rent it out to other companies, sparking unexpected synergies and forming a community that has shaped The Park’s vision: growing together. Over the years, The Park has grown organically and been present in multiple locations across Stockholm, but always remained one community. The past two years at Forskaren in Hagastaden, and today the community includes over 900 members from 280 companies in life science and tech.

“At our core, we are a coworking space with flexible work environments, conferences and events, but our mission statement is not a workplace with Wi-Fi – it’s growing together” says Mikael Ahlström.

For growth in all phases

For The Park, Flemingsberg is a natural hub within Stockholm’s innovative life science region. With its strong community, networks, tailored facilities, and focus on collaboration, they want to contribute as an engine for new innovations and establishments – both as a physical and digital home for anyone wanting to grow together with others. Or, as Mikael puts it himself: as a facilitator for growth in all phases, where the members themselves create the value.

“Our role is to give companies their own space to focus on what they need, while also providing opportunities to interact with the community” says Mikael and continues:

“We bring infrastructure, methods, processes, and experience with startups and scale-ups, and models where we primarily work to increase interactions among our members through events, meet-ups, matchmaking, and mingle. We also bring a culture where people feel safe in opening conversations with their neighbors, having dialogue at the lunch table, and bouncing ideas with people they haven’t met before.”

Through The Park Academy, they also offer a variety of programs. Among them is BioVentureHub together with AstraZeneca, which focuses on maintaining innovation during a scale-up journey, where all members are welcome to join. Members can also connect through their digital platform and take part in “circles” – small community groups based on interests, industry, and expertise.

A strengthening puzzle piece

In other words, The Park Novum offers a welcoming space for startups, scale-ups, and individual entrepreneurs seeking to boost their development journey. Located next door to Hemsö’s coworking Novum Labs, which provides access to advanced instruments and lab environments, the two together create conditions for long-term collaboration and a vibrant knowledge exchange.

“Flemingsberg is a natural puzzle piece for both our existing and future members.”

She’s Building Bridges Between People and Place – Meet Karin, the Placemaker Behind the Future of Flemingsberg

Karin Lekberg is paving the way for the Flemingsberg of the future — a place where knowledge and creativity meet. She envisions a vibrant area full of culture, evening and nightlife, and a natural meeting place for both students and creators. But when the goal feels far away, it’s about starting where you are — creating life and activity here and now, and above all, building on the stories that already exist, allowing the place to grow into its future.

Flemingsberg Brought Color to Nordic Life Science Days

Flemingsberg is a place where research and progress never sleep. A place where someone is always working on a solution. During Nordic Life Science Days in Gothenburg, Flemingsberg stood out from afar — with an orange booth that, just like Flemingsberg itself, was full of surprises, experiences, and served as an excellent meeting spot for life science enthusiasts.
