Huddinge Municipality and Fabege are jointly developing the City Center in Flemingsbergsdalen. Here, they are planning for offices, services, retail, housing, hotels and conference facilities, streets, and squares. The City Center is intended to be the hub of Flemingsberg in the future and will offer the highest urban qualities in the area, thereby contributing to a vibrant urban environment.
Flemingsberg – where knowledge and creativity meet in southern Stockholm.
Flemingsberg is one of Sweden’s largest urban development projects. With excellent transport links and a growing business cluster, we can achieve a regional balance between southern and northern Stockholm. A center is being built here with space for 50,000 workers, 50,000 residents, and 50,000 visitors. The station will be a transfer point for long-distance trains, commuter trains, and trams. And Flemingsberg continues to develop as an increasingly strong innovative, creative center for the whole of southern Stockholm.
What’s happening in Flemingsberg?
In 2024, the Royal Opera and Dramaten moved into their new 12,000 sqm decor studios, and Billmans opened the doors to its new restaurant. In May 2025, Alfa Laval moved into its new 20,000 sqm office and innovation center, along with its approximately 700 employees. At the same time, the K-märkt restaurant opened, further expanding the range of services on offer. The Royal Opera and Dramaten, Alfa Laval, Restaurant Billmans, and K-märkt are all important pieces of the puzzle in the development of Flemingsberg.
