Stockholm Life Science Conference 2021
On May 25, Karolinska Institutet is organizing Stockholm Life Science Conference, a full-day event to co-create the life science system of the future.
The conference will reexamine the current and potential role of the sector and explore an expanded vision of life sciences that includes prevention, implementation, accountability, and “universal health preparedness”.
Expert panels and group discussions will discuss, among other things:
- How can we accelerate the implementation of national and regional life science strategies?
- What has covid-19 taught us about how the life science system can be developed and structured to meet common and pressing challenges?What does the new post-pandemic landscape look like, and
- can we take advantage of the current situation to further strengthen life science systems?
- What systemic barriers (legal, ethical, financial, structural, political) have the covid-19 pandemic shown us that must be removed to create a more resilient, fair, and sustainable society?
Stockholm Life Science Conference is organized by Karolinska Institutet in collaboration with Region Stockholm, Stockholm University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
