A New Campaign Highlights the ATMP Heroes: Flemingsberg as a Hub for Future Health Innovations

Today, the Flemingsberg Science Foundation is launching the first campaign for the new platform, ATMP Flemingsberg. Meet nine ATMP heroes, each playing a vital role in the ATMP cluster in Flemingsberg.

In Flemingsberg, pioneers have been working with cell and gene therapies since 1996, laying the foundation for today’s groundbreaking advancements. At the crossroads of hospital, academia, and industry, innovation meets collaboration to find treatments for previously untreatable diseases. This is why we, at the foundation, have initiated the ATMP Flemingsberg platform—to provide a comprehensive perspective on all ATMP activities in the area and showcase what makes Flemingsberg a competitive innovation environment.

“Flemingsberg has a long history of successful research and clinical development, particularly in the field of advanced therapies and regenerative medicine. Here, it’s possible to take ideas from start to finish—from research and pre-GMP to clinical implementation. Flemingsberg offers opportunities for both individuals and companies to develop and grow. Behind the successes in Flemingsberg are our ATMP heroes, those who contribute every day to curing diseases once considered untreatable. With this campaign, we want to highlight these heroes.” – Pernilla Boström, COO, Flemingsberg Science Foundation.

Flemingsberg is home to a cutting-edge science environment, a university hospital, and a dynamic community of pioneering companies, all set against the vibrant backdrop of a lively campus. We believe in highlighting the people behind all these advancements, to showcase the talent and forward-thinking spirit in the area.

In this perfect environment to thrive and collaborate, breakthroughs are happening, and you can be part of it. Join the movement, meet the heroes, and discover why Flemingsberg is the place to be for the future of medicine.

Because in Flemingsberg, everything is possible. Welcome, you too.
