Press Start – Flemingsberg’s Game Hub for the GamePreneurs of Tomorrow

Press Start is a new game hub in Flemingsberg where students, creators, and entrepreneurs come together to build the games – and companies – of the future. Here, technology, business thinking, and community combine in an environment where ideas grow into real ventures.

The gaming industry is a global giant, now larger than both the music and film industries combined. Sweden is already a world-leading game nation, and Flemingsberg is emerging as the next hotspot.

Press Start builds on existing game development programs at Södertörn University and Stockholm University, and is part of a larger initiative to establish Flemingsberg as an international hub for games, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The hub is led by Drivhuset Stockholm and connected to the coworking and innovation environment Innovation Station, where startups can take their first steps. The initiative is powered by Södertörn University, Stockholm University, Flemingsberg Science Foundation, and its partners: Fabege, Hemsö, Huge, as well as Huddinge and Botkyrka municipalities.
