From Science Week: Innovative arenas create collaboration for the city of the future

In a panel discussion during Science Week on February 1, it was discussed how innovative neutral arenas are central to the development of the smart and knowledge-intensive city.

Flemingsberg Science CEO Johnny Högberg participated together with a panel consisting of Sophia Sundberg, CEO, Barkaby Science, Peter Dobers, Professor of Business Administration with a focus on sustainable development and collaboration, Södertörn University, Johan Zachrisson, Business Development Manager, Fabege and Anton Västberg, Development Director, Region Stockholm. All under the guidance of moderator Lydia Capolicchio.

Flemingsberg Science celebrates ten years – follow the journey to today

This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the start of the the Flemingsberg Science Foundation. The decade has seen a number of initiatives that have contributed to the development of Flemingsberg as a regional city center in southern Stockholm. A new publication summarizes the ten-year journey made by the Flemingsberg Science Foundation during the years 2011-2021. Here, the foundation's three periods of activity are described under the headings: More new knowledge-intensive companies, Collaboration for a strong campus and A living and open university city.

Application for Flemingsberg Science Award 2022 opens

As a student, worker or resident in Flemingsberg you can now compete with your business idea. In a sub-competition to the national business plan competition Venture Cup, Flemingsberg Science rewards ideas that contribute to a better world. In addition to the prize money of SEK 5.000, the winner also gets a rent-free space for three months in Flemingsbergs Sciences' innovation environment.
