Flemingsberg is growing as a hub for creativity and innovation
In Flemingsberg, breadth is our edge. It is a place of creativity, with the Opera and Dramaten soon to move in, while we continue to be at the forefront of cell and gene therapy. To convey this, we have recently launched a value proposition for Flemingsberg together with key stakeholders to identify and package the soul, heart and DNA of Flemingsberg.
From Milan to Flemingsberg: A CEO’s Insights on Innovation and Urban Development
Earlier this year, our CEO Johnny Högberg visited Milan together with the Mälardal Council, where they witnessed examples of how the city and region have worked with successful innovation areas such as the Milano Innovation District (MIND) and other industrial clusters. Subsequently, on April 26th, the Mälardal Council's triple helix network, the Greater Stockholm Network, held its networking meeting at Innovation Station Flemingsberg. It was an opportunity to discuss the lessons learned from the trip to Milan and the network's ongoing work to strengthen the Stockholm-Mälaren region. Johnny Högberg shares his insights.
A Pitch Workshop for Entrepreneurs and Innovators in Flemingsberg
Earlier this spring, the Flemingsberg Science Foundation hosted a pitch workshop aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and innovators with promising ideas in Flemingsberg to elevate their concepts to the next level. This workshop coincided with our prestigious competition, Flemingsberg Science Award.
NextCell Pharma: A Decade at the Forefront of the Stem Cell Revolution
For the past ten years, NextCell Pharma has been developing cell therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, operating Sweden's largest stem cell biobank through its subsidiary, Cellaviva, and conducting five clinical trials. They celebrate this milestone by launching their third subsidiary, QVance.
In Flemingsberg, we cure diseases that were previously considered incurable
Earlier this year we hosted the most meaningful ATMP event of the spring, in collaboration with Miltenyi Biotec and the Karolinska ATMP Center, Karolinska University Hospital and Karolinska Institutet. We gathered over 120 participants, all sharing a vision of creating momentum to accelerate access to ATMPs in the Nordics.
Flemingsberg in Transformation: ShiftSweden enables the transition to attractive and accessible living environments for all
Impact innovation is Sweden's innovation initiative for the 2030s. This week, the first five programs that have been granted funding for the next 10 years were presented, and we are pleased that "Shift2Access" is one of these programs. In 2023, the Flemingsberg Science Foundation initiated discussions with IQ Samhällsbyggnad, which works to make Sweden a leader in sustainable urban development. As a result, in the fall we signed a letter of intent to be included in the "Shift2Access" application, which has now been granted funding.

Vi har även samarbetat med andra studentföreningar.
För oss handlar MSSH om gemenskap, engagemang och att göra saker tillsammans för att stärka den muslimska gemenskapen på campus 💛
