The Park and the real estate company Hemsö have entered into a collaboration which means Novum Research Park in Flemingsberg will offer a first-class coworking environment for researchers, innovators, and creative minds who want to become part of a growing Life Science cluster. At the same time, the Flemingsberg Science Foundation is launching a film about Novum—playful and with a touch of drama.

The game initiative Press Start Game Hub in Flemingsberg has now taken a major step forward in developing a sustainable game development ecosystem by launching its first academic collaboration group: Press Start Academic Group. The first meeting was held in June 2025 and brought together researchers and key figures from some of Sweden’s most prominent game development programs.

In May 2025, Alfa Laval moved into its new office and innovation center, spanning approximately 20,000 square meters, together with around 700 employees. Thanks to the rapid progress of academic development, Campus Flemingsberg now hosts more than 24,000 students. Campus Flemingsberg consists of five different universities and colleges, a high school, and an art school, providing students with the latest knowledge.
In December last year, the Flemingsberg Science Foundation was granted funding from the European Regional Development Fund to establish itself as a key player in Life Science with the launch of the project “Cluster Engine Life Science Flemingsberg.” Meet Ellen Mäkipiha, the foundation’s new rising star, who will be working on the development of the Life Science cluster in Flemingsberg.
