Today the Flemingsberg Science Foundation announces that Miltenyi Biotec Nordics has become a Trusted Partner, entering into a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting and strengthening the development of ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products) and the Life Science sector in Flemingsberg.

OptiCell Solutions is a company that recently launched its operations at Novum Labs on the Flemingsberg Campus. Founded in 2024 by specialists from Karolinska University Hospital and entrepreneurs from the Life Science industry, the company specializes in improving the availability of high-quality target cells for cell and gene therapies, a critical component of the growing ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products) sector.

Earlier this fall, we launched the first event in our seminar series, Hitchhiker’s Guide to Startup Success, which we are organizing together with Miltenyi Biotec. The inaugural session featured an inspiring workshop led by pitch expert and coach Malcolm Larri. The event gathered innovators and entrepreneurs in the Life Sciences sector, with a particular focus on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP)—a rapidly growing field with tremendous potential to revolutionize healthcare.

In the autumn of 2025, KTH will relocate its Technical Preparatory Year spots from Södertälje to Flemingsberg, resulting in a significant increase in student numbers at Campus Flemingsberg. By nearly doubling available seats and introducing a new learning center model in collaboration with 3 municipalities, KTH aims to meet the growing demand for technical education in the region.
