Sparly tog hem vinsten i startuptävlingen Flemingsberg Science Award. Förutom prissumman på 10 000 kronor väntar nu fri plats under tre månader i Flemingsberg Sciences innovationsmiljö.
Dance collective focusing on young people takes the stage at Flemingsberg’s stage art residence
The dance collective Johanssons pelargoner och dans will be the first to appear on the stage art residence established by Huddinge municipality and Södertörn University. In 2021, the collective will, among other things, develop workshops and give open rehearsals in Flemingsberg.

Biosfär and Sparly winners of the Södertörn Social Cup
The Södertörn Social Cup rewards early startups in social innovation with a focus on the UN's global sustainability goals. This year, first and second place went to the students behind Biosfär and Sparla respectively.
Biosfär: “We want to democratise the care of the elderly”
Biosfär took home first prize in the Södertörn Social Cup ideas contest, which rewards social innovations. The idea behind Biosfär is to give people in homes for the elderly and in nursing homes the opportunity to experience joint activities in virtual reality.
Sparly helps you to sustainable personal finances
Sparla is the fintech – financial technology – app that will make your personal finances "financially fit". Recently, the service was awarded second prize in the Södertörn Social Cup. The service is now being developed to take the step from the student world to the general public.

📣24 hours before my new adventure at Stanford University begins, and this is how we wrap up before I go. 🥳With huge news from Press Start Game Tech Hub.
A total of SEK 11.5 million is now being invested in the development of Press Start GameTech Hub, an initiative created to strengthen the GameTech sector in the Stockholm region.
The project is led by Flemingsberg Science Foundation and Södertörn University, and will run from September 2026 to 2029.
I could not be prouder of how far Press Start has come in such a short time.
I was given the honor and the mission to found Press Start, and seeing it grow from an idea into one of Europe’s fastest-growing GameTech hubs has been one of the most meaningful journeys of my career.
And now, we are taking the next step.
Press Start now also has a GameTech Node in Silicon Valley, creating new opportunities to build bridges between Stockholm, Sweden, and one of the world’s most influential innovation ecosystems.
All with one clear goal:
To strengthen, support, and create real opportunities for our GameTech community in Stockholm.
What a way to close this chapter before Stanford.
And what a beginning for everything that comes next. 🙌
