Together with Venture Cup, one of Sweden’s leading platforms for startups and business ideas, Flemingsberg Science Foundation welcomes you to a workshop that will help you create a compelling and engaging pitch to take your startup or idea to the next level. During this highly interactive session Malcolm Larri, coach and pitch expert, will teach you the fundamental building blocks of creating an effective pitch, Venture Cup style. You will also receive feedback on the pitches you create.
Sweden's children and youth are not doing well. Mental health issues, increasing neuropsychiatric disorders, and sociocultural confusion, partly caused by social media, are on the rise. As a result, the level of knowledge among young people is declining, with reading comprehension and mathematics being particularly problematic areas. Irma Alert, the winner of the Flemingsberg Science Award, wants to change this.

STARTUP is a competition for startups with a clear connection to Flemingsberg, either as students, residents or otherwise active in the area.All ideas are welcome to participate in STARTUP as long as you compete with your own idea and the turnover and external equity is below SEK 1,000,000 at the time you submit to the competition. After that, we of course welcome you to continue working with the business idea, sales and any investments.
Winner of the Flemingsberg Science Award IDEA this year was Hejfin. The innovation is an app for women and non-binary people to help them manage their personal finances.
STARTUP is a competition for startups with a clear connection to Flemingsberg, either as students, residents or otherwise active in the area. The idea behind HappyPaws is an open platform that provides pet owners power over their pets’ medical records. It would give pet owners a better overview of their animals’ medical histories, from previous visits to the vet to the vaccination status, and allow information to be shared with other users.
As a student, worker or resident in Flemingsberg you can now compete with your business idea. In a sub-competition to the national business plan competition Venture Cup, Flemingsberg Science rewards ideas that contribute to a better world. In addition to the prize money of SEK 5.000, the winner also gets a rent-free space for three months in Flemingsbergs Sciences' innovation environment.
