The Red Cross University College was founded in 1867 by pioneering Swedish nurse Emmy Rappe, and was the first non-religious nurse training available in Sweden. Since then, we have trained and equipped nurses for a broad spectrum of roles that have contributed to the development of the nursing profession in Sweden. The College has an inclusive atmosphere where students are represented in working groups that influence the curriculum. Today, around 80 people work at the College, and we have approximately 850 students. www.rkh.se
