The Stockholm region is a world-leader in life sciences, fintech, cleantech, tech/ICT, infrastructure, creative industries, logistics and retail.
Stockholm also has the vision of being a global leader in foodtech.

Stockholm is one of Europe’s fastest growing capital cities. It has three international airports with excellent transport links. It also offers a highly educated workforce: two per cent of its 2.4 million inhabitants are graduates. Stockholm is ranked fourth in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018.

The Stockholm-Uppsala region is home to Sweden’s largest life sciences clusters. The life sciences sector employs some 20,000 people in 1,200 companies, which amounts to more than 51 per cent of Sweden’s life sciences workforce. Life sciences is also the third largest sector for investment in the region.
